Now that the warm weather seems to officially be upon us, it’s time to get your vehicle ready for summer! Though most drivers only think of winter when they ponder seasonal hazards, the summer months offer their own dangers.
The first thing you will want to do to prepare your car for summer is switch out any cold-weather gear, such as winter tires, in favor of their summer equivalents. All-season tires should do you well during warm months.
However, higher temperatures do impact tires heavily, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled when it comes to lowered tire pressure.
Additionally, this is a good time of the year to re-stock your vehicle for all the potential summer adventures you may have. If you have a steady supply of sunscreen, water, and fresh beach towels in your vehicle, you certainly will not regret it.
And as always, be sure that your vehicle is in top shape by taking it in regularly for service, here at Jeff Lungren Chevrolet!
