Chevrolet was recently named the official vehicle of Little Caesars Arena, continuing as the official vehicle of the Detroit Red Wings. The Red Wings, an NHL team, is one of the best in the business, and Chevrolet has been an official sponsor of the team since 2015. Now, the brand will prepare the massive arena for the open of the 2017-2018 season.
According to Chevy, the company will be adding signage to show the Chevrolet Red Wings sponsorship, including additions to the northeast entrance. Additionally, the arena will get a Chevrolet Plaza, a distinct part of the west side of the arena that includes a giant video screen that will double for games and concerts. The signature bowtie will also appear throughout the arena.
“We have enjoyed a fantastic relationship with the Detroit Red Wings and it was an honor for Chevrolet to celebrate the historic final season with the team and the fans at Joe Louis Arena,” said Paul Edwards, VP of Chevrolet Marketing. “We look forward to continuing to support the Red Wings and the revitalization of our hometown, the City of Detroit, as a landmark partner in the new Little Caesars Arena — a perfect complement to our partnership with the Detroit Tigers and presence at Comerica Park.”
There will also pre- and post-game coverage that will be expanded throughout District Detroit, one of the largest sports and entertainment developments in the country. Covering over 50 blocks, this mixed-use development includes theaters, neighborhoods, and a variety of venues.
We at Jeff Lungren Chevrolet, couldn’t be more pleased about this new partnership between Chevrolet and the Detroit Red Wings.
