In anticipation of the all-new, sixth-generation 2016 Chevy Camaro, the automaker has released pricing details and launched an online configurator. The online configurator allows visitors to the site to build and price their very own (albeit virtual) Camaro.
The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro’s pricing starts at a suggested retail price of $26,695 for the Camaro 1LT, and the most powerful Camaro SS ever starts at $37,295 for the 1SS.
“The all-new 2016 Camaro builds on what made the Camaro the segment leader for five years,” said Todd Christensen, Camaro marketing manager in a statement. “It will reset the bar in the segment with even greater levels of performance, new technologies not found on any other car in the segment, and more choices that enable customers to take personalization farther than ever before.”
The 2016 model will be available in 2 models, the LT and SS, and will offer four trim levels, including the 1LT, 2LT, 1SS, and 2SS. Buyers can choose from three engine choices, including a 270 hp 2.0-liter turbo engine, a 330 hp 3.6-liter V6 engine, and a 455 hp 6.2-liter V8 engine.
For 2016, the popular 1LT trim level drops its price and adds a significant number of features, making it a better value than ever before.
